Mt. Pulag Stories: Dear Kevin (Part 1)

Dear Kevin,

If you’re reading this it means we survived. Yey! Shitting you not, I have actually prepared a last will and testament on who will receive our knick knacks. Nice to know we’re still keeping our stuff.

Until now, I still can’t answer when people ask me why we did it. Whenever I’m asked, I just keep my silence and grin sheepishly. It’s not that I don’t know the answer. I keep silent because they won’t understand. I could list all the reasons, and show them all the nice pictures but they’d still ask why. I would know. I was like that before.

I was once an indoor type of guy. I’d rather stay at home, watch koreanovela and pig out. To me that was life. Whenever I ask people why they do the outdoorsy kind of stuff, they would give me a dozen reasons on why they do it and I would give them a blank stare. To me, it was utter stupidity.

Anyway, nowadays I am on the receiving end of the stares. Hahaha. It sometimes bothers me but I know I’ll get used to it. One small step at a time.

Congratulations again on surviving the trip. Tell me you’re stories please!!

From the days of the future past,

***Somehow, that weird X-Men title bothers me a lot. If it was days of the future past, then is it the future or is it the past? I’m already at my wit’s end.
